Tenerife information and Tourist guideTenerife is one of the Canary Islands. Although the Canary Islands are 200 miles to the West of Morocco in the Atlantic ocean they are belong to Spain. Spanish is the language but English is widely spoken to some degree or other in the Tourist resorts.

Health InformationYou should take Form 111 with you. Obtain from a United Kingdom, fill it in then get it stamped by the Post Office. This allows you to get free emergency treatment. Also take any prescription medication that you require with you.
Duty FreeThe islands unlike Spain are duty free, and the EU rules do not apply when you return to the United Kingdom with respect to the strick limits on quantity of Spirits, Cigarettes, perfumes and gifts that you can bring back.
