Los Gigantes

Los Gigantes lies along the bottom part of the west coast of the Island of Tenerife.

The Cliffs themselves were once considered sacred (The edge of the known world). The Cliffs are a shear drop into the Atlantic falling directly from heights of between 500 and 800mtrs.The only approach to the cliffs unless you are a bird is from the sea and tourist boats can often be seen in the locality.

The small port of Los Gigantes is a holiday resort with much of the tourist trappings however from a personal point of view I would say that it caters for the more sedate holiday maker than Playa de Los Americas or Los Cristianos.

That said most of the roads and pathways are of an above average incline.
